Straw hot media. Welcome in everyone. Hopefully everyone's excited. I am Matthew, as always, here to convey your questions, or allow you to convey them yourself, to our wonderful guest today, Harvey breathing. It's sowhelming heart. Bizarre has so tell me, why would anyone want to be lie does not have a reputation before she arrives? But Trust me, we have way more fun after life. We have way more funny feline. How about we do this? Let's hear about everyone's favorite moment from the episode, in fact. So just sign you're up. What's your favorite moment from the wedding? Okay, Um y's outfit. Actually, I really, really, really enjoyed all the outfits. I'm a huge fan of the costume department. I go through like a Weirdo and look for high quality pictures so I can just look at the costumes. I loved Nandor's like, I don't know, like blinged out version of his regular self. Um, I loved all of the other nameless vampires that we didn't know yet or may never know. All of them looked amazing. I was that was the first thing I was going to say. To Harvey and then I was going to ask him a question. Good, because I was gonna if no one else brought it up, I was going to. I mean like Green, Oh God, and the Turtleneck. Yes, just just an absolute look. It was a look and like, not only was it a look, it was so perfect with his skin tone and like the way they did his hair and like, I just the costume department like as me away. I think Harvey is gonna like that. Come Up. I think he's going to appreciate that. Um, let's see, I'm going to send you back down and then you might have to reraise your hand. I'll just remember where you were in. Okay, cool, thank you, I'll recall that. So let me move you back. There we go, some kind of human nerd. I remember you from last week. All right, let's hear. What's your favorite part of the episode or what was? Okay, just checking out'm not muted. You're good. God. There's so many good things about it, but I really really enjoyed the character moment with Nandor and Guillermo before the wedding. Um, because it was pretty obvious what Nandor was doing to everyone but himself. Um, this is often true, but I feel like it really spoke to how their characters and how their relationship has grown that Guillermo was able to like tell him, you know, you're the one trying to sabotage this because you're uncertain about it, and Nan door, instead of instantly getting defensive and telling him he has no place to say that, Um actually acknowledges and responds to it, and so that was just such a sweet, nice moment. That also displays how much the power and balance between them has been lessened over the seasons. That's a great point. I think we've seen a lot of growth from both of them this season especially, and we've got a great moment at the end of the towards the end of the episode, with the two of them were with Nandor putting the blanket over Garmo, which I thought was absolutely adorable. Everyone on twitter is freaking out, but by the way, for those of you don't know, and I will mention this to harvey when he joints and get his thoughts, Guillermo and Nandor both have been trending on twitter for over forty eight hours now, which is awesome, uh seeing. I mean the twitter fandom is alive and well. Clearly everyone is really excited about this show, and for...

...good reason, I mean it's one of the best shows on TV ever. So and I think we can all agree about that. Um, let's see, sweet juice, what was your favorite part of the episode? I genuinely have to say my favorite things have been just the small gestures from like Naja and the guide helping out with Guarmo, and this episode was just like a sweet little gesture and it I feel like it ties into how their relationship has grown. there. Obviously GUARMO is friends with everybody in this house, even if they are total assholes to him most of the time, and obviously there are some very, very touching moments between the door and Guiarmo and Guiarmo and Mala at the end of the episode. Oh, we're gonna talk about that? Yeah, I find that very interesting. Well, the tired yeah, we will. I don't worry, I will bring that up at the right moment. I will. I mean, how can we not talk about that? Yeah, I will be bringing that up and we will all be talking about that. I will talk about my favorite part of the episode if everyone cares to hear about it, because there were so many great moments in that episode, but I'm a major fan of the sire uh just the the whole look of that character is so cool and I really want to know if it's like practical or if it's C guys, but we'll get to that later. We have someone else up here, PAS rife, I think it is. Yes, I really I've loved the show. I watched it since season two and Um, I'm half Persian, so seeing uh Nandora's character and having like all little elements of Persian culture is like so, so exciting and affirming for me. It's like a big fan because I don't really see that anywhere else. So even the little moment of Marba basically having her parents brought back to life and immediately being like Moma Chu and Bama do and like the word that means like my dear. So that was like that was such a big thing for me. So I really appreciate like having all these tiny details, as well as Nanda's wedding outfit. Marma looked absolutely stunning. Oh my God, that dress, like both been nice to see a proper person money, but if it's fine, it's like overall it's really nice seeing these little glimpses um of my culture and my like, uh, yeah, show. It's really nice. That's a great point. I think we've we've we've had a lot of great representation in the show and I was wondering like if the wedding would be a Persian style wedding or or something else. Um, and then, you know, I thought to myself, I don't know if Nand or is even thinking about that. I think he has this grand idea of a wedding in his head. He cares more about the wedding than the actual marriage and I think he was just doing whatever the hell he wanted. Yeah, he definitely was. I mean it's also he has forgotten a lot of it. Like he forget Sparsi, which is funny becausekay bond knows it, but like Nandor has forgotten. You know, he calls his horse John when it's John, which means my universe. So there's like so many little things that I know the writers care a lot about depicting these things from uh, you know, pursuing culture and everything, so it's super cool to see them, even if he doesn't remember. That's a great point. All right, and if you have another question. You move. You back to the audience. Uh, if you have another question, just raise your hand again. It looks like professor h let's see. All right, what was your favorite part of the episode? UH, so much. It was such a good episode. Every moment was fantastic, like every minute. There's a little detail that I could talk about being so phenomenal. I think when I hear parts, though, is that the baron is restored now to his full body and we get to see Doug Jones is fabulous acting again. I love his character movement. He's the king of monster movements and like unnatural stuff and it's so cool to get to see him in the full body again banging everyone as he should. That's an absolutely great point. I'm a massive UG Jones Fan. Like you...

...said, he is one of the absolutely ultimate monster character actors, big, you know, lanky characters. He's one of my favorite movies of the last decade was the shape of water and it was amazing in that he's, you know, incredible in Star Trek discovery as one of the best characters in that show, and so to have him in this show and then to actually see his face in his beautiful flowing hair and beautiful hair. It's such a great moment. Yeah, absolutely great. That was a great point. I love that too. Oh, it looks like Harvey's here. How are you, Harvey? Good? How's everyone doing? Well, I think everyone is very excited to chat after that last episode. So I think people are very eager. In fact, we have we have more people than I've ever seen with their hands up at once. So we don't get started. We're gonna we're just gonna be inundated. Let me kiss introduce everyone. If you are living under a rock, this is harvey began, the Star of what we do in the shadows. I am Matthew. We're going to be taking your questions and we're gonna be starting right away with Monday's our turns. Come on down. Um, hi, Alardy, I'm so excited to speak with you and, uh, I just want to let you know that I'm Nextican, American and I'm from Santa Anna and I'm just like, so proud of you. Thank you. That's so nice. Yeah, and respectfully, Um, you're such a hotty two and like both talented and like there's nothing that I can think of that you're not good at. Like I really enjoyed listening to your interview with Tig Fong and like how they explained how you're such a Badass live action hero. Oh well, I appreciate that. Well, you know, we have to represent and also, you know, fighting against all Hollywood stigmas and stereotypes of what you know, a classic actor leading man should look like as has been a challenge, but I'm glad to put up with the fight and open the door, or at least leave it a jar, to someone who who might come from Sant Ana, who might be a little plus size, it might be, you know, Latin or might be queer. You know, they never know, yes, and you're being humble, but you've like kicked the door wide open and you're so generous with your fans. It's like amazing. But down to my question. I really enjoy watching your your red carpet style. I loved seeing your look at comic con and Um, I just wanted to know, like, what is your process? Do you work with the stylist and how do you put these looks together? Well, that's a good question because, you know, a lot of people assume that I work with the stylists and, as you know, I got Um kind of further in my career. People recommend work with the stylist, but for the longest time, and I still do, I style myself because you'd be surprised how many stylists out there, I don't know how to style a person of size. And it's just because most stylists have a relationship with the you know, could tour house or on a designer, but most of their designs usually come in model samples and and uh, and those samples are usually, you know, for females or like size zero, to like to and there's no no designer out there that's making sample designs for a plus size actor. So everything would have to be custom made or tailored and whatnot. Nobody wants that hassle. So you'd be surprised. Many times, you know, people are turned down from Stylus, and so I made in my mind. I was like, you know what, I know what looks good at my body. I want to and I want to have my own voice. So I style myself for the most part. Once in a while, you know, for the events, like the big events where Um to get in connection with the big houses, like, you know, Dulcha Gavano or like Goochi or something, which otherwise they don't really make those outfits in my size anyway. So when we partner up with them, it's they make them like it's a custom cuture peace that you know, but I'm always reminding them, like you know, you should make these pieces and these sizes, because you have a lot of people who would love to buy them, um, but they're I...

...have to dress us for that event. But for the most part of the events I addressed myself. Like Comic Con, look was might put that together with my sister. We went shopping and people are like, Oh my God, who's a designer? And it's like designer or like we went to a SOS and like like a pair of pants and then went over to like where was a tsar or something and got like a shirt and put those color palettes together. So you don't have to spend a lot of money to look good. And it's also how you carry the clothes. You know, some of the best looks I put together have been recycled pieces from like vintage stuff that I found um or that I've had in my closet. or I always like to like incorporate something new. So I don't like I feel that I use that outfit, you know, again in the same carpet look, but or I can use the say piece in a different way, so you don't spend, you know, all your money out on stuff that you can't work twice. I guess if you will, but I don't mind it. I'm are like you know, I kind of like worrying the same thing if I can in a different look, not the exact same look, but I can switch it up a bit, you know. Thank you so much for that, and that's proving my point true, like you're good at everything you do, because you're really killing well. Thank you, I say, for you to see some new fashioned ideas we're gonna have for this weekend and then for upcoming Um, you know, shows and stuff. I'm excited about some of the outfits you put together. Account. Thanks for checking in, you know, while we're talking about outfits, because it's gonna come up anyway and now is the best time. Everyone is freaking out about Guermo's wedding outfit, you know, the Blazer and the TURTLENECK. Who did that? Who? Who? Like can you talk about the team who put that together and where the ideas came from in the process. Yeah, so that's Laura Montgomery, who's our costume designer. Um. She's brilliant and she's really hands on and collaborates and that outfit we like had a meeting with the color palettes and what looks good for Guillermo transitioning from, you know, Um, from familiar to bodyguards of unhealthing to best man. So every time he kind of has a metamorphosis, we see him, you know, shut away a different layer of his skin when we see a new layer to him, and this was definitely a new layer. He's peeled away this like side of him where people thought that he'd be jealous or upset that Nanda is getting married and he's very confident and comfortable in his skin right now and he's not threatened by the idea that someone that he cares about has found his version of what they want in their life as their true love and partner. He's happy for them and and here to support them and I think at the end of the day, that's the biggest kind of love there is, you know, the unconditional love that you love somebody, even if you know they might be with someone else, doesn't mean that you have to be with them romantically and the idea that people want Nan during a yearmore together. I think this show, this episode, showed off that at the end of the day, they do have love for each other, and whatever that manifests into only time will tell. But going back to the outfit, Um, Laura wanted to show off this side of like Yermo, that he is kind of evolving and he's a little more swab. He was in Europe for a year and he might have, like you know, looked into fashion while he was there. He might take a little more pride when he dresses up for events from now on. Um, that Turtleneck, the suspenders and everything, the jacket and the and the pants, the trousers, were all accustomed made by Lauren, their amazing team. Um The work on the on the show and it was nice to see him get into a different look, because the vampires get these glamorous, beautiful, exaggerated, extravagant outfits and yeah, we use it tends to stay to either the van helsing or the familiar look, and so it was nice to see and so it's always nice of pop of color for the audience to see him in a different look. Awesome. The team really deserves a shout out, so I'm glad you yeah, and they're nominated for an emmy for a cross team this season. Wow, I mean, come on, they deserved that Emmy. We have all right now we have party poisone who has a question for you if they can meet their mic hey, harvey, it is so great to be able to talk to you again and get your insight. I, Um, I met you back in at Spookala in May. My wife was Nandor and I...

...had to cross the silver cross tongue ring. If you remember that. Oh, I do remember. Yeah, yeah, that's me that. That was one of the best moments in my life like that. Oh my gosh, magical. Thank you so much, so wonderful, and I love all your sixtures online. You know, I just love the re enacting. You and your partner always outdo that yourself and I always share all those with the casts because it's my favorite. I'm crying. I'm blessing of doing it all. Thank you so much, but my question for you today is, Um, say Giamo went down a different path than so. He went to like college or did a vocation or something like that. Um, what do you think he would have studied. Well. Also funny say that because in the first Um, in the second season, actually, I think it was the second season Um, there was an episode where we go to the Nickro answers hut and it was adjacent to a community college and at least to be a quick line the guero that he said I used to take stagecraft here. So there's a point where we're trying to put the pieces together, like where Guillermo found Nandor Um, and it might have been freshman year in college somewhere, because he said he used to take classes at this community college. And in the season one when he brings his friend Um back to the house the Virgin and they having the Orgy party Um and he's a version of stuff and he brings mochi ice cream. They there was an original line in there that he had mentioned where they met, and I think they met at school and I think it was freshman year in college. So I think that he went to school. He would have done. He was drawn to the arts. Now he's supportive of baby collins love for musical theater. He really kind of nurtures that and I think it goes back to the storyline of at one point Yermo was studying like stagecraft, like he may be behind the scenes or a TV production or stage production. Um, so something to do with the arts. I think at one point he is a fan of film and was in love with, you know, interview, with the Vampire. So I think he has to do something with that. Maybe TV production, our stage draft. Oh, I love that. I wonder if he would have maybe done some light cosplay too. So he did larvae, Larbine, so fetch. I think the Larpine and and Costpaly go hand in hand a little bit in the way that you bring a character to life, and so I wouldn't put it past him. I think that he would definitely be seen at a con. Yes, perfect, maybe I'll bump into him one day. Thanks so much. Thank you, because that was a great question and I think everyone's always thinking about his backstory, which actually brings me to a question that someone left with me from discord who could not make it today, unfortunately. Uh. Their name is Lady Indigo, uh, and here's what they have to say. They say you always put so much thought into Guimo and I know you've thought a lot about his back story and even you know, to part and giving him his last name. Have you had any saying to what the writers do with this care and, aside from the twist of his slayer background, as anything they've written for Garmo ever surprised you? You know, I don't really have a lot of say in the character. Um, I mean I gave Garmo the last name because I wanted it for my personal like at that moment I didn't know the trajectory and storyline of guermo's Van helsing lineage and so when I gave him the last name, just to have him for myself, I said, can I give him the last name, and Jamaine said yes, and he said what are you thinking and I said and things and then, like in the top of my head, I don't know why I said that, La Cruz, but at that point I didn't know that Van heusing was in my blood and did not really put that together until, I mean after they made that announcement. I said, why would you let me choose a name with that like it has cross of the Cross and the last name, and then he said I was perfect, and he's like, when he told me that, I was like yeah, that's perfect. So it was like Kiss Smith. It was like I didn't know I was helping kind of create this character by giving him that last name and and they already knew that he was gonna be a van housing, but I didn't. For the most part, I mean it's kind of funny. I don't really know what's going on my storyline for my season until the week of filming, usually because they have...

...to keep us on our toes to keep it like an Improv um or keep it like a documentary, to keep it real. But sometimes I feel like I would love to hear a little bit beforehand, is to look preparation, because it is hard as a character who's the only human on the show, to mentally be, you know, Um catching up to like Oh and one day we'll shoot like episode four, oh one, and then by the afternoon we shoot four or six and then by evening we're shooting part of the finale. So if I don't know what's going on in each episode, it's kind of hard to kind of draw and connect the the emotions that that are linear to Guillermo in the story, in the in the season. So for me, I don't really have an input. I can have like an idea when it comes to the lifestyle in the household. I do help out with, you know, the verbic and what the household might have in it and uh, those things. They do it. They're very nice. They invite me upstairs to the writer's room to help out right out a scene. Um. But aside from that, most of the surprises to me, and even this season, I have friends who are auditioning for roles right now for the new season. They're like, oh my gosh, I'm going out for this and I was like what, what are you talking about? Like in one episode this happens and I'm like what, I don't what are you talking about? I don't know what you're talking about. So they so I have friends out there who probably know more storyline for the new season than I do myself. That's that's actually funny. I didn't realize that that that could happen. Yeah, all right. Next up we have kN D with a question. Hi, yeah, my question is one of my friends actually, who couldn't make it, but she was saying that one of her favorite visual gags in the open up season three was when Garamo eats a burger with a knife and a fork and it just always seems so odd and funny to her and she was just wondering if you could like talk a bit about that gag, like whose idea was it and what do you think it says about Garmo? You know, that wasn't in the SCRIP. I just made it, uh, a choice for Guerimo, I think. Uh. You know, he's still very neat and meticulous about certain things and I think he's a little bit traumatized with the blood and the household that he has to wear gloves when he's carrying carcasses and whatnot and in his hands are right. He's really particular about so, if you look closely, like some of those seasons where he's stressed out and whatnot, he has very long fingernails, like I let the almost finger nails go long for this season because he has no time for like you know, he's always just like on the go, but also his nails on his only weapon, like at some point, even when you look closely to like a scene where he's picking something up, he has pretty long nails because he has no fins, he has something sharp and he only has a crucial fix in his neck that's hidden behind his sweater Um and he has like nails and that's it. Now that that would protect him, but he does feel a little bit of safety more with having some kind of weapon on him at all time. But the bit with the forking knife was something that came up with on the day. Kyle newit. Chick was directing that episode and I like it. I like the choice. Like the choice because you know, they don't give you fork knife when you go to a Burger joining. They give me fries and the Burger you eat with your hands. And so for him to ask, can I have a forking knife? And that was a bit that I did with the person who was the found I think ended up editing that out for a time reason, but I did. It was a whole bit like I was gonna have a fork and if please like for what it's like for my burger, and it's like you need your burger fork and Ife and like we like a whole bit and no one ever saw it, of course, but it gave that backstory to why he would ask for that, because he doesn't want to get messy. Everyone doesn't like to get messy. You know. He tends to keep everything nice and press and and, you know, pretty neat, and so a burger can be sloppy and it could be mustard and pickles and falling on your shirt and now you don't have time to go change your you know, sweater or your jumper. Uh. And so for him it's very about keeping it clean and cleeping everything uh in order. And so I like that you caught that because it was really subtle and it was really quick, but kyle left it in the show. So I'm glad that everyone, I got to see it. Cool. Yeah, that's yeah, that's really neat that you guys added. Thank you. Thank you. I think that says a lot about the show. Uh. There's so much that you can miss, uh that you know, you can rewatch the show a hundred times in the New Vision will gag or something in the background every...

...single time it there's a lot about the set designs, there's a lot about you guys as actors and the writers and everyone. I think so. I think that, you know, it's a collaboration between everyone and we just have the best team in the world and we get to go to work and play absolutely and hopefully that the emmys will represent that. Here's hoping fingers. Alright, padded foot, you're up or it's a it's really great to have a chance to talk to you, even just for a second. Um. I think Gamo is absolutely hilarious and I think, Um, especially this season, he's gotten more of a chance to like, I guess, like let the profanities fly from time to time, which I really increased his comedic role. Um, the other cast members, despite almost all of them being like like over a hundred years old, they all have like giant children. Um. So you being in like, however old you are in the show, you are really the only one that consistently acting like an adult. So I was curious. That was like almost a daunting uh, I guess a daunting task as an actor, Um, to be kind of the straight man, like surrounded by all of these like super chaotic like several hundred old vampires. Yeah, you know, it's hard because I in this in this show, the comedy they were doing is I played the straight man in the whole series and usually I you know, I've always played the comic relief, but it's been like farctical and like Um, which I love. You know, the I'm trained theatrically, and so that's always like, you know, played at the back of the House and like whatnot. And so in this show the vampires are that they're bigger than life, because they are bigger than life, you know, they're they've been in life for hundreds of years. Um, they're immortal. They don't have any care in the world except, you know, Thursting after lust and feasting on blood and whatnot. Anguillermo is a human and at the end of the day, you know, the human has to be grounded, because humans have goals and aspirations and there's, uh, there's UM consequences for your actions, because we live in a society, you know, and the society has made structure and rules. And remember that, like, as a human, like, he's done stuff like for his master that are terrible things, but everyone kind of brushes it off because they relate to Guillermo, because we've all been at a job that makes us do like horrible things or they overlooked for promotion or whatnot. Um. And so the reason I think that everyone kind of looks like a Yarimo is, like, is that hard to play that against those vampires, because you put yourself in those shoes, you put yourself in the year most uh, you know, boots and then think wow, I don't know if I could do it. I don't know if I could deal with all these babies and whatnot. It's a lot, you know. And now with the real baby in the House, we have baby Colin, and Uh and that's the reason he hasn't left the house. He's not going to leave a child in the arms of these vampires who have forgotten what it's like to be human from hundreds of years ago, even though they make their best efforts. Um that the only human in the House with human empathy is is GERMO. Yeah, that's Um that's awesome. I think a lot of your comedy is a lot more cynical and just, you know, reacting to the comedy around you, and I think you do that really cleverly very often. Well, thank you, I appreciate that's very nice. Thank you, thank you for answering me. Awesome. That was a great question. So many great questions today. We have an awesome community here. Actually speaking of the community while we're waiting for the next person. I don't know if you're aware of this because you're a busy guy, but uh Nandor and Guillermo, both independently of each other. I've been trending on twitter for like over forty eight hours now. Oh, I was not. What's your reaction to that? What do you think about that? Well, that's I mean, send me those analytics. I would love to see that. Those sound great. Um, I mean I didn't know. I had somebody text or message me, Uh and said that the night of the show Guillermo was trending in the under the entertainment section and Nandrow was also trending, Um, and so it was just funny to think people are really invested in these characters in the storyline. I think that every week we just get a glimpse...

...of like, you know, other frustration or people rooting for them and whatever that is. People have their own interpretation of what they should be to them in their head. Some people want them together, some people don't see it, some people see them as really good friends with who love, you know, who love, love for each other, and I think it's a little bit of everything. As of now we really don't know, but we know they have love for each other. That's the one thing I can't say is that they truly do have love for each other. And you have to to put up with something like this for thirteen years and be mistreated, but still make a choice to stay behind and and and love someone that you know. You know there's good in them. Maybe there's you know there's also moments of bad, but you know they're good in them and that's what makes use, uh, stay in love. Right, we see something in someone that everyone else sees Um, but I feel like I the love is shown by the fans in this week and all weeks where that's so great that they're, you know, trending Um the name of Gier Mornandor Um. That's crazy. I mean it never sees. It to amaze me how far the fans will go to support the show and M and I don't take it for granted and I think you all for all the support you get to the show. That's awesome. That's a great reaction and I think the twitter community deserved that shout out because they are so active. Now, Don Storm One, D and eleven, you are up and you can ask your question. Oh Hi, this is so cool. I never thought big fan, big Fan. Um, I was actually introduced to from Zoey's extraordinary playlists. You were in season two. I loved you on that show. Oh yes, George. Thank you. I was actually really as supported when he keeps showing up, because you were one of my favorites, but I love you on what are you doing the shadows as well? Um, what would you say is one of your favorite filming experiences? Well, I would say for shadows or even Zoey's. Um. You know, yes, I love doing Zoe's. I was supposed to do zoways, actually more, but schedule didn't allow, and I was supposed to come back for a Zowey's birthday episode because I was supposed to sing kiss me by sixpence on the Richard, because I come back with a new partner and a new job and I'm really happy with lives. And so we're gonna show that element of George Putting a chance to because the schedules so that to spread that song with everyone. That cut that song to several pieces, but it's filming. Z always was one of the greatest experience, I think. As for a musical theater lover like I am and went to school for Musical Theater Um, that was like musical theater camp. You would like either you're dancing or rehearsing dancing, you're filming or you're recording the song in the studio. Like kids every musical theater, kids dream, and so filming is always one of my favorite experiences. And with shadows, it's like filming this world, you know, the genre that we get to film and the documentary style and we get to improvise. It's still every day like you know, it's a dream. It's a dream job. And Uh, and one of my favorite moments is, you know, I could I could pick a moment from each season pretty much, but recently, the last season that was shot, one of my favorite moments of shooting with Cavan and not knowing that he was only in prosthetics that day. I think this is on our TIKTOK. It's a video that we put up where I opened my door to my trailer and I just saw Cavan in full prosthetics and like he had a facelift, classic surgery, Um, eating his dinner in his trade with the space and it just was one of my favorite things because he knew I was watching them and I was like, Oh my God, and he played to the camera like eating his dinner and he looked up and I had not seen the prosthetics yet. So it's always nice surprising. You get to setting, you see someone like, you know, laslow and like a Guy Fieri's shirt and the boater hat, or what you call it, the boat yeah, and like uh, and then you know, to seeing Natasha's dress, the pink dress there was. It was labor modeled after Mark Sinson's episode when she gets a new dress for a low cost at like a Ross or something, and then she goes to the country club and she remodels the pink dress. That was the inspiration for that pink outfit with a little bit of a Jackie. Oh. And then to see land or in his Zook Zuit for the first time.

And we never saw this online, but or on the move on the show, but there was a scene where he improvised. Um, he opened his eyes. Somebody stopped me, like Jim carries the mask in his outfit and it was the funniest thing. I just couldn't stop laughing. So that's one of my favorite memories of the season we have. Alright, go ahead and ask your question. Hi, Um so, first of all, before you got on, I said that, um, your suit was the best part of the episode. I Love Your I love the costume directors and everything. Um, YEA Montgomery. Yeah, it's amazing. And so I guess my question. We spoke to a new week ago, a couple of weeks ago. And Yeah, and Um, normally you're the straight guy and Um, the comedy of crazy people. and Um, I asked him what it was like being like that guy who stands there and doesn't react and, you know, smirk sometimes and is the only sane person in this house full of crazy people. He said immediately it's a lot easier than being funny. and Um, he and he then said I asked him if he ever broke because, like the two of you together just this magical, and he said that he didn't because he was so amazed at what good actors you guys are that he didn't realize like a comedy has to be acted that well. I've always wondered, what is it like being the other half of one of the funniest characters that has ever been invented? I mean it's a blessing just because, you know, I never had a chemistry with Cavon. It's one of the once in a lifetime kind of thing where you meet another actor who gets your humor, who gets your timing, who is giving, who is supportive. Cavon has become one of my closest friends and Um and and I I generinely love that guy, like I literally Um. He always checks in on me, like, you know, when we're not filming. I think we just keep in touch with each other throughout the months and I think that really kind of helps us and that translates over in try craft, because you have to trust the person that you're with. If you go into a group setting and you go into a trust fall, you really got to trust that person. Um, there has to be no hesitation and I never hesitate with Cavon and he doesn't hesitate with me. He could turn around and do a trust fall and I would always, you know, pick him up, because you need that in comedy. You need to know that your partner has your back and and goes along with it. You know, there's no like what are you doing? You know, like, what are you doing? You look silly, you stop, stop, you know you're dumb. You know, there's never that. There's always yes and pality, and Kivan goes along with it. I mean. So I wish you guys could all see the stuff that he just doesn't you know, like he's on offset like we're like just hanging out. He can impersonate so many people, he does so many characters, like he's just so, so great and it's so funny and so always down to like have a good time that I didn't even think about that when we first started the show. I just wanted to have staff chemistry and I'm glad that by luck we did, because we never had a chemistry and I was nerve wrecking. I need to live at that point I had to live with that character for ten years with him, you know, at this point it's going on to fourteen years, which is a long time, and so I think it helps that we are good friends off the screen, because it really resonates on scream and you really do believe us when we're on screen, because there's just two people in front of you who are acting these two characters but who, at the cores, really do care about each other and the other like actually friends, and they're actually friends and they that makes for good you know, everybody loves seeing two friends have a good time. You know what I mean? That's what we are watching, you know, thinking of other like you know, thinking of like my friends. You know, trixy and Katya, who have their podcasts and like we love watching and that's we watched...

...them, because they're two friends who just get each other. They talked about everything and anything, and that's what we love watching. When two organic people bounce off each other, the energy is really, really resonates. So I think with Cavan and I, that's that's what it is, and I think that you know, like you said, if that goes down in history as a dynamic duo, then you know, by all means, like you know, we'll we'll gladly take that title. But but that was never the intention. The intention was just to create good work with two actors who love comedy, and as long as we achieve that, everything else is just a cherry on top. Well, I guess my second half of that is because you are always very humble about your place. Were you like okay when you first started doing this, like Oh my God, this is like Taika and Jermaine and Cavan and like all of these kind of pretty big names of comedy and then you come and like dominate? How did that feel at first? Well, that was never the intention. I feel like I came into the the group with you. Remember that guerro was the last person to be cast. You know, everyone had to audition for the show except for Matt. Matt was off for this role because he was friends with Tyke up and he was perfect. I can't even imagine anyone. I was playing Laza, but everyone else auditioned for the roles and they had already been cast. They had cast everyone in the show except for my character, because in the pilot guerro was pretty background like he's uh, you know, he's kind of the he's submissive, he's quiet, he's a servant Um, and so he's kind of fading in the background a little bit where these personalites are bigger than life, right, and we don't really see a glimpse of Guillermo's like potential until the end of the pilot where he's closing the curtain and he's and he feels a little bit jake and a little bit kind of taking advantage of that. His master doesn't even know that it's been ten years. He's so here you go for your two years of service too. So it's been ten. He's all really, he's all that one. You know, for him. What is time to a vampire? Nothing, they're immortal. Time to a human is everything the clock is taking in. A decade went by in a blink of an eye and he's still in his had Nandor is like, Oh, in my head you're still doing like two years. I didn't think I'M gonna give vampire this. So No, absolutely not. So we start seeing a little bit of a glimpse, so we could potentially happen with Gierremo at the end of that pilot episode, and then it just grew from there, just like I think Paulstin said it best. You know, every time we throw you something, you proved you can do it. So it's like, let's make him new stants. He can do it, let's make him do this, he can do it's he gonna do that? Why was can Giermo Da an emotional scene where he cries? Yeah, and they're like, you know, they throw these curveballs at me as an actor, which are exciting, uh, and I get to display those talents, because otherwise you could really make this character one note. You know, have been but that could have gotten born really quick. And I think they also saw how you guys, the fans, really resonate with Guillermo and Um and all you know, and I've always said that from the beginning, it's like the work will speak for itself. If it's good, it's good, and if it's accepted or appreciate it, the audience will let us know. And the fans have really taken to Guierremo and loved him and been so supportive and and again and I I thank you so much for all the love, because it's, I think, because, you know, major part because of the fans and how they show their love through socials and just voicing their love for Giermo. That that kind of tells, you know, the show of the writers like, Oh wait, people like it when he jumps off a window, people like people like that he has a soft side and he's emotional. People like that. He's like me and he might cry in his room with, you know, with the little doll of a vampire. Um. So people was speaking of vampire dolls. I had, I made the whole cast and you posted them on instagram about three weeks ago. Thank you. Oh wellcally, there you go again, like I whenever I was like when art supports you know, or artists support artists or an art inspires art. So it's like if you know my interpretation of what someone wrote into a script and then they costume and then I got to act in the camera person filmed it. There's like a chain reaction. If all of that work of just an artists compelled you to create dolls of the form of the characters, then it inspired you as an art this.

So I always like to promote artists on my page. So that's why I might get annoyed at some point because you see my stories as just repost to people's amazing I don't think anyone could get annoyed by all the awesome art in this community. That's so much all right. Next up, we have to keep it going. trashy fan girl hill, it's so thorough little to talk to you here. So I wanted to thank you for being such a good representation for me as a queer person of size. I love to see you on the show. You're doing amazing job. Thank you for that. Thank you. In the wedding episode we see Germont as a wedding planner for an under so obviously an under makes a lot of request for for his big day. But planning a wedding is a ship ton of decisions. But nunder every tiny decision, or did he let Germo have some free reign of some details? Like are we on this level of trust in the in the relationship? I think that Giermo knows Nander so well that, even though Nander has a list of really extravagant, you know, wants to desires, I think it's just a facade. I think Germon knows his heart, and so I think of the day, Giermo will always pick what he knows Nandor or his master would really truly enjoy, because he's leading with his heart. He's not leaving with superficialness. So even like the idea of the car, the conversation with them fighting was because, you know, Nander was focusing on the superficial, like getting a Dodo for the raids to eat, like it's not possible. Why not? Because they've been dead, you know, since like. So it's like the idea that Germo knows what's best for Nander because he knows him so well. No one else knows him that well. And and well, he's not choosing from the logical sense, he's choosing from his ego. Nander is running off like he's just distracting, he's distracting himself, you know, with his big wedding, with like, you know, uh, he's just even like when Natash, his character, says, I just think he didn't because I wanted a wedding, you know, because he wanted to have a big wedding, he wanted up to have that feeling. He wants it so bad that he's rushing into things really quickly. Um, because he wants it so bad. You know, sometimes people look at someone getting engaged and and playing a wedding really quickly and like slow down, what's here? You know, and it's like no, it's like it has to be perfect and it has to be this, and it's like is there something else? We don't know, because I feel like if, if it's, if it's true, you know, and it's and it's gonna happen organically. There's no. There shouldn't be you losing sleep over the minutia of the wedding. It should be you excited about the Union of two people or the Union of view and your partner, you know. And and so when it's not that, that's when it's like, whoa. I'm like, we should reevaluate what's valuable and what's important. To you, Um, but I think the Guiarmo takes the lead in this and he was frustrated for sure, because he was losing sleep. I mean, you know, I think today they posted on the effect some socials like best bridesmaid, best man, best party, you know, a wedding planner, and someone made a really cute art piece where it was the wedding planner with Jennifer Lopez and WHO's the actor? Jennifer Lopez and I'm trying to think of the Guy Actor. Alright, Matthew mcconnelly was just like alright, right, right, Um, yes, they have a poster of them from the wedding planner movie and then someone drew Germo and Ander in those positions and poses and said the wedding planners starring Germ Modilla, Cruz and nander their relettles. I saw that. Amazing. Thank you for on swallowing my question, of course. Thank you. Alright, this person has been waiting for forty seven minutes. Oh my gosh, earned it. They've earned it. They earned it. Hi, can you hear me? Yes, sorry, this is my first time doing this, so I'm not quite sure how it works. My name is Samantha Um, I. So I love this whole wedding episode troupe, and I was wondering if you have a favorite wedding episode...

...out from any other TV series or any TV series. M M, I guess I like the I guess it wasn't really a wedding, but I mean when friends, they had a couple of weddings. When we meet Rachel's character, she run away from our wedding, so that's funny. Um, I feel like that one turn of think I used to watch this reality show was was a gypsy wedding and it was a reality show where they followed the pursuit, like the whole status of like getting your dress made, and I was fascinated at that. And of course, I guess I like reality shows because I like like weddings and reality shows. The real housewives of Atlanta when, UM, one of the girls was gonna get married and her mom and sister hit the license because they didn't want her to get married to the guy that she was getting married to, Cynthia. That was a character or that was that was the person Cynthia. Um, I guess it like weddings on reality shows. I think you know, because I do TV and film a lot. My escape is not usually going to scripted series or comedy. I usually watch people through reality because that's my escape. I go watch people and they're like. I mean as much as reality TV, as you know, this could be a little bit scripted, but it's as much as I like. I like seeing one of the people are up to and be like, oh my gosh, her wedding. It's like, oh my gosh, she threw her wooden leg at her Um, just, you know, reality stuff. Yeah, I grew up watching like TLC and all that, so I totally, I totally get it. Yeah, and totally see. You get it. You get it. I love the my big fat American Gypsy wedding. Shout out there. I have not thought about that show in a time. I know. That's what it was, a big fat American Gypsy wedding. Yeah, and I mean those dresses were right like Serassi crystals to the like, you know, from head to toe.
